Maria Alejandra is a graduate of the Law School of the Universidad Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU).

In the private sector she focused her practice in the areas of corporate law, immigration law and more specifically in labor law. She has worked in the public sector practicing Public Administration Law, and has specialized in Procurement and Contracting, and in particular, the structuring of procurement and contracting processes.

At the academic level, she has completed several diploma certificate courses, including in Intellectual Property, Theories and Practices of Public Contracting, and Contract Management in Public Administration, Effective Anticorruption Control, among others. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Administrative Law and Public Management.
